I gotta tell you how much I appreciate the care I received when starting my exploration into live music torrents. There were several sites I found early on, but the folks here at TTD patiently answered my posts. The questions were likely asked and answered repeatedly prior to my posts. In spite of that, I got thoughtful responses every single time. Special thanks to the users, moderators and admin who took the time to walk me thru the minefield of digital sharing. You guys are the best! And, you will be missed.

Also, big thanks to all the tapers and the amazing shares over the years.

Apparently I'm too stupid for this forum software, but interestingly it was shown to me in the previews and I believe also that it was initially shown in the post, maybe it was removed.
So, in case that there will be no picture again, then something with it may be wrong, or against a rule unknown to me? Are image tags, although working, disallowed? So, tags like [ img ] URL [ /img ] ??? ;-)

Not really, even if the "conversion" to a "new" Den will probably not be cheap. But as I understood it, so far the costs to run the Den are not the issue, it is "ancient" and unmanageable technic, and this needs to be rebuilt. And since @xavier242's health does not allow it anymore to do this job, we needed someone skilled doing it.
You can read that up in this thread, just skim back to the first posting from this year in this topic.

So, if I'm not mistaken there may be found a person, or the money to pay an engaged person with the technical knowledge, to converse the old technic into a new state that can be administrated without doing hackish things. But I'm only a user and have no insight in the internal things, let us wait for an official statement, what I wrote above is only wildest guessing!

thanks to all who have kept this site going all this time, and helped keep my posts seeded as long as possible.
this site is a great resource for music that would otherwise probably not be heard by nearly as many people without it.
really hope it can keep going.
I do not have nearly the technical knowledge to run a site like this.
just hope it remains possible to have sites like this, one has to worry some, given the deteriorating world political dictatorship situation.

All I can say is noooooooooooooo, please don't let this great website DIE. Don't let it go dark. This is my favorite torrent site, the one with the best old music -- which is all I care about. Anyway, I hope the site doesn't close but I understand people with skills are needed, people with lots of free time, dedicated people, dedication very few people have.
